Description

A beautiful Vintage Solid Pine Hope Chest with a cedar-lined interior. This substantial piece offers generous storage and plenty of traditional character.

Thick solid pine gives the chest a strong and sturdy construction. The warm brown finish also highlights the natural grain of the wood.

Traditional dovetail joints add strength to the construction. In addition, heavy-duty metal hinges support the large lifting lid.

Inside, the chest features a clean cedar lining. This provides useful storage for blankets, bedding, clothing and other household items.

The generous proportions make this a practical piece of furniture. However, it can also provide useful seating when used as a storage bench.

The traditional design would suit a bedroom, hallway or living room. Alternatively, it could work well in a country, rustic or traditional interior.
