A classic Vintage Herbert Terry Anglepoise 1227 Two-Step Desk Lamp with an iconic British industrial design.

The distinctive two-step base gives the lamp its recognisable appearance. In addition, the sprung adjustable arm allows the light to be positioned where needed.

The original paintwork has been retained. This gives the lamp plenty of vintage character and reflects its age and previous use.

The lamp has been restored and rewired. It has also been PAT tested for electrical safety.

History:

Herbert Terry & Sons introduced the first Anglepoise lamp during the 1930s.

The 1227 design became one of the best-known Anglepoise models. Its sprung arm allowed the position of the light to be adjusted easily.

Today, original Anglepoise lamps remain popular with collectors and enthusiasts of British industrial design.
