										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a high-quality <b>Mid-Century Green and Cream Bay West German Fat Lava Vase</b>. It has impressed markings on the base.</p>
<p>Bay Keramik, also known as Bay Pottery, has a rich history. It is deeply connected to Germany’s ceramic tradition. It was founded in <strong>1933 by Eduard Bay</strong> in Ransbach-Baumbach, a region known as <em>Kannenbäckerland</em> or “potters’ land”.</p>
<p>Initially, Bay produced utilitarian wares, such as unglazed terracotta cooking pots. By the <strong>1950s</strong>, the company was one of the top names in West German art pottery. It was primarily known for its bold shapes and bright glazes. Designers like <strong>Bodo Mans</strong> helped shape Bay’s look. They introduced bold geometric patterns and rich textured surfaces.</p>
